The Wausa Adminstration, Staff and students would like to wish heartfelt congratulations to our own Nancy Erickson and Lynn Bloomquist on their retirement. Nancy and Lynn have been dedicated employees for the Wausa schools and we will truly miss their compassion, hard work and commitment to our Viking family.

Congratulations to the Wausa Vikings who competed at the 28th Annual Norfolk Classic Invite. This year thankfully saw less tornados and more running, with the athletes all making their school and community proud. Our Vikings all brought home hardware against the top competitors in all classes across Northeast Nebraska. Results from yesterday are below.

Wausa Public Schools will be accepting applications for the position of head cook/nutritionist for the 2023-24 school year. This position is a 10-month position and will head the school breakfast and lunch program. Hourly wages are commensurate with experience in either an educational setting, a restaurant setting, or other food service leadership positions.
