The Wausa Gymnasium will be closed from the afternoon of July 19th thru July 29th for floor refinishing.

Wausa Library, Elementary and the Lied Lincoln Township Library are excited to celebrate the joy of reading during our Annual Read Across America week.  This year the celebration will be held March 4th - 7th, with our end of week Dr. Seuss Day extravaganza on Thursday, March 7th.  This year's theme is Harry Potter, so bring on the reading magic!!

The Wausa Quiz Bowl team has made it to the third round in a 48 team bracket (Sweet Sixteen).

They will take on Logan View on February 8th at 10:30 am. 

The quiz bowl can be heard on 104.9 FM.

The JH Tournament set for this Saturday, February 10th has the following changes:

Osmond now has 3 girls teams and 3 boys teams for our tournament.

They will follow the schedule below.

Girls in the morning--

9:00 Osmond-Randolph vs. Wausa

10:00 Wausa vs. Creighton

11:00 Osmond-Randolph vs. Creighton

Boys in the afternoon

12:00 Osmond-Randolph vs. Wausa

1:00 Wausa vs. Creighton

2:00 Osmond-Randolph vs. Creighton

Due to the amount of snow days, Wausa Public Schools will be adding back in the following dates to the master school calendar.  The days of Feb 7-9, Wednesday thru Friday, Wausa WILL be having full schools days.  There will no longer be a spring parent teacher conference, or K-8 Data day.  Any questions please contact the school office.

Wausa Quiz Bowl Team Advances! Wausa team of Matthew Rumsey, Sam Aitken, Jessica Andersen and Luke Woockman are headed to round three on February 8th! Great job Vikings!

Due to Allen hosting the Lewis and Clark conference Wrestling tournament, the Wausa vs. Tri-County Northeast girls and boys basketball games will be held in Emerson.

Note, the Girls JV will start at 4:00pm and then will go on a rolling schedule meaning that both Varsity games could start ahead of time so plan accordingly.
